ideas on how to "spread the secret" of high performing units in a knowledge
work environment more broadly. While the book's basic message about the factors
contributing to high performance is not anything new, the book has two valuable
features for managers and leaders. First, it provides empirical data that links
performance to the way people are treated in an organization. Second, it goes
beyond the general to offer specific, concrete guidelines on how put the
findings into practice. A good read for anyone interested in optimal
performance for teams.
